A New Beginning

I am so excited about today and am grateful that you have given me the opportunity to share my knowledge with you and hopefully help you on the journey to achieving all your goals. I hope that the information wasn't overwhelming and that I helped you realize that this process will go at your pace and will work within what you are comfortable with. We will work with what you are willing to do and make it work from there. Please don't get scared by the intended end point, know that it will be about baby steps. Obviously the more you are willing to change the faster the results will come but if that comes with a price of not being able to have the change last for the rest of your life then it isn't worth it. So baby steps are fine because we want the changes to be easy and we want them to be permanent.

So today I woke up and wasn't hungry which is weird for me but does happen occassionally so I take this as a sign that I am supposed to fast for today. I will do intermittent fasting, probably 2 times per month. This means I will go about 16 - 18 hours without eating. Why?? You ask. Well basically I just listen to my body and go with it. Also it has been shown in research to help boost your metabolism and gives your body a rest from digesting! I then proceed to pig out at lunch on the "tacos" that I showed you. I think I had about 4 or 5 of them they were delicious. I will post that recipe tomorrow as it is my bedtime now! For dinner I had 5 oz of grass fed hamburgers with guacamole, and tomatoes on top - no bun, no nothing really because I just wasn't in the mood to be to fussy as it was late and i was hungry. I had braised cabbage which I made this morning and will post the recipe for tomorrow as well - it was delicious. No workout today as I ran out of time, which means I will double up tomorrow or just work a little harder.

Please feel free to email me with any questions you might have before next week and if you get a chance to send me your "food journal" before next week that would be great.
